Book Excerpt:

Mr. Pole was round with rosy cheeks, he looked like a very short Santa Claus. Mr. Pole invited everyone into his large plush office where he explained why they were interested in Trudy and how they believed she was very talented. He directed most of his conversation towards Trudy. “Trudy you seem mature enough and we want someone with passion for this sport. We can find a good swimmer anywhere but what I saw in you was something different and that’s what the Olympics is all about. Do you think that you are ready for something like this?”
