I had the pleasure to talk with LaChelle Weaver for our Author Spotlight. She discussed her novel Sister Surrogate being released on Brown Girl Publishing July 12, 2016.
Who is LaChelle Weaver? She is a native from North Carolina and English graduate of North Carolina State University. LaChelle is a passionate writer who loves writing stories that entertain and engage her readers. She wrote a short story in The Dating Game titled We Aint The Huxatubles.

Sister Surrogate was inspired by an article in a magazine that LaChelle read while at the hair salon. The article caught LaChelle’s attention and gave her the chance to use her creative imagination.
