Introducing Contributor’s to Maya’s Showcase- Felecia Tucker

Introducing Felecia Tucker, an educator, a mom, a talented writer and new author.  She is 3 of the unique women on Maya’s Showcase.  Building a bridge in education to educate and inform parents to bring out the greatness in our children.

What she will bring to Maya’s Showcase?

I hope to bring information about mostly education since that is what I am most passionate about. I am deeply concerned about the plight of our children. For example, how education plays a role in student outcomes, not always from an academic perspective but parenting, environment, and even politically.  My teaching experience has been mostly in an urban environment and our children are in trouble. So I use my platforms to share information.  I have completed 3 books and they are all about some of the challenges children face and how the characters dealt with them.  For fun I like to go biking and I like to write.  They are both relaxing and rewarding.  I also love the ocean and often go there to relax and meditate.
