Media Vs. Purity by Simone Carter

Society tells young men and women that it’s okay to have multiple sex partners. Continually we see television shows and movies promote open sexuality and promiscuous women and men. social-media-862117_1280

No one is promoting being the good girl or good guy. No one is teaching our youth that he/she doesn’t have to give themselves to that young man or young woman who has done nothing to deserve their body nor awaken their love. No one is placing the emphasis on giving your wife something no woman has ever had. No one is placing the level of importance on laying before your partner for life pure. We don’t teach them that to lay before God as husband and wife and enjoy each other is glorifying God and that it is also a form of worship.

Well I am here to tell you that your worthy of the wait. You are worth being treated like hidden treasure that cannot be found until they stand before God and the world clarifying you as their husband or wife. When will we turn our youth back to what is continually deem as old fashion and help them to understand that it’s not old fashion but God’s way of protecting them from heart ache. It helps protect them from feeling used up or worthless.

It all starts with us.

Let’s step up.
