Sistah’s Place had the pleasure of sitting down speaking with new author Judy Hewitt. She was one of the 20 men and women to share their story to the anthology For Such A Time As This releasing in November. Judy’s contributing chapter is Forgiveness. I am sure many of us can relate to the struggle of forgiving someone who hurt us. Judy shares her own personal story and journey to forgiveness. She talks about the importance of forgiveness that will touch your heart. The year 2020 alone showed us that we must forgive because tomorrow is not promised.
Hewitt’s chapter, “The Power of Forgiveness,” reveals her truth of long-held resentment, anger, and pain. Although she understands “forgiveness” means different things to different people, she believes it all begins with a decision. A decision to release the pain and begin living life with a lighter heart.
