Euryia talks about why she wrote Bonded by Destiny. This is her first book released on July 1, 2020. Tell us about who the author
I grew up thinking that what I was being told about the world was only part of the story. I love myths both historical and modern and often see the possibility in ‘what if’. A good romance with strong ‘alpha’ heroes and even stronger heroines that can be a partner for them, that is what I love to read. If the heroines are just a tad crazy, even better.
I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful daughters, three crazy cats, three crazier dogs and a husband to round out the bunch. I deal with my fair share of issues while dealing with Fibromyalgia and other complications and as a result, I find an escape in books where there is always a happily ever after.
What was it that made you decide to write a book?
I always been creative and have written for myself as an audience for longer than I can remember. My best friend read some of what I wrote and insisted I finish it and publish it. She was the person that held my hand, and still does, through the ups and downs of self-publishing.
What inspired your book title, and is this fiction or non-fiction?
Bonded by Destiny, the title, is reflected in the story as the main character discovers her destiny and why she doesn’t need to fight against it. If she accepts it, she will find happiness beyond measure. This book is fantasy romance and is of course fiction.
Without giving too much away, tell us what your story is about.
Bonded by Destiny by is based in a world where myths and legends are real and just hiding in plain sight. It’s the story of Theanna and Damian and the hurdles they have to overcome to reach their destiny together. It’s about love and so much more!
Is there a message you like readers to walk away with after reading your book?
To never give up on love. Love, whether from family, friends or a partner, can get you through anything!
What makes your book stand out from your competitors in your genre?
I hope a unique and entertaining story. It contains a twist on mythology, both modern and old.
What is next for you as an author? Will there be more books?
Yes there will definitely be more books, I’m currently working on Book 2, War of Giants. How many books will be in the series, that has yet to be decided.
Who are some of your favorite authors and why?
Ember Davis, Tarin Lex and Shaw Hart. They are all great friends and fantastic authors in the romance genre. Their works have helped me deal with the pain of my chronic conditions.
