Celebrate Breast Cancer Survivors

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we celebrate all the women who have survived this journey. The journey through cancer treatment is hard emotionally, physically, and mentally. The strain and stress affect not just the woman but her family too. No one could ever understand what a cancer patient endures but one can respect her courage, her strength, her willpower, her faith, and her choice to choose to fight cancer that has invaded her peace. That is why we honor and salute the women mentioned here and women all around the world who have survived Breast Cancer. They live to share their story and their journey so that another woman will have the courage, inspiration, and motivation to live through each day of treatment.

There was a quote that said, “We are Anchored in Hope” and Hope Anchors the Soul. This quote made is encouraging one’s spirit. This quote will remind you to think of the many women who have endured chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries. They were all anchored in hope, faith in a higher power that was bigger than themselves to know they would survive Breast Cancer.

We at Sistah’s Place salute the women who have made it through just like our CEO Letrise Carter who stands now with these ladies as survivors. We call all these wonderfully made and blessed women Warriors.
