Tell us a little about the author

Regina Murden is an educator, inspired Bible teacher, and writer. Her purpose is to encourage women to experience the joy of a fulfilled life. She knows this can only come from a close relationship with God. Because of her involvement in discipleship, she founded the Responsive Soul.  This organization is primarily for women who are willing to become aware of their accountability to God.

What was the inspiration that led you to writing Rendered for More?

It was not intentional. The inspiration for writing “Rendered for More” came from a personal experience that became a healing process for me. Deep down it was a tug in my spirit, but I knew I needed to be obedient. This book is God-breath, faith-filled,  and convicting. This is an area I feel many combats with when it comes to trusting. Especially when life is smeared with uncertainties.

What inspired your book title?

This is a non-fiction short story memoir. It unfolds my personal growth with Christ and learning to find my voice among the various voices that can saturate our minds. The inspiration for the book title “Rendered for More: Finding Your Inner Strength During Uncertainties”  came from a place of transitional and knowing deeper there more within. It felt there was a new level of potential I yet have not explored

Without giving too much away, tell us what your story is about?

Sure, I can provide you a quick synopsis. The book entails being created for such a time as this, life’s qualms can bring darkness that seems unfair, but is God’s handiwork. Two orphaned women face trials of despair, guilt, and rejection as they try to trust God. Freed from a victim of why me to why not me. They find the royal touch, the tool they overlooked.

Is there a message you like readers to walk away with after reading Rendered for More?

The message I would like to leave with the reader is there is so much within you waiting to be revealed. We have the responsibility of finding what is it of our roles in life contributions. You may be in what may seem a compressed season in your life. But be willing to let go and render your control and trust God for more.

What makes your book stand out from all the rest in your genre?

I believe what makes this particular book stand out from others in my genre simply is a guide you can use alongside any development stage in your life. It is created as a personal development story that follows a devotional format. There is a section for each reader to assess and reflect on their personal experiences as I share my experience in life as well as Esthers. The reader will feel engaged and it is written with truth and me being a former educator.  The short story is written in teachable I honestly believe we all have a hidden Esther within. This book allows you to explore the meaning and purpose of your Esther and why you were created for such a time as this.

What is next for you as an author and will there be more books?

What a good question with a lot of possibilities. My next is continually unfolding and see where this writing ministry will lead. Yes, there will be more books to look for hopefully soon.

Who are three of your favorite authors?

My favorite authors are Shelia Walsh, Michelle Stimpson, and Terry McMillan.
